MEALS

Camp is not about losing weight or eating tofu! Meals are served three times a day and tend to be high in carbohydrates and calories to meet the physical demands of the day. The Food Manager coordinates meal planning and food preparation with the Prude Ranch staff in an effort to provide quality food.

  • Meals in the Prude Ranch Dining Hall are served cafeteria-style
  • Sack lunches are provided on days when campers will be off-premises during lunch time
  • A limted number of vegetarian options are available
  • Campers are responsible for their own special dietary needs
  • Water and powdered energy drinks are available throughout the day and most physical activities provide water stations/support
  • Campers should bring snack-related items and beverages of choice
  • Although the rooms do not have refrigerators, you can fill up your ice chest with ice that is available while supplies last

    LODGING

The Prude Ranch cabins do not have telephones, televisions, refrigerators, room service or onsite laundry facilities. Although considered rustic, all cabins have air conditioning units. All but one cabin have covered porches which are a perfect place to relax in the evening and visit with your neighbors.

The Prude Ranch also has full RV hook-ups or you can bring a tent and camp. For RV and tent camping, you must bring your own linens, towels and soap.

    For Cabin accommodations only:

  • Linen and towel service is provided
  • Linens are changed once during the week
  • Towels, trash bags and toilet paper are replenished daily
  • Pets are not allowed in the cabins
